Chicago Area Attractions — A Life Worth Living, Is One That Is Shared...

After attending the Wonderland Express exhibit at the Chicago Botanic Garden on Monday, my family and I also strolled through the Garden’s greenhouses.

Experiencing the beautiful plants of the tropics, the desert, and houseplant environments convinced my body that spring had arrived. It sure put the kick back in my step and kept me warm as we returned to the car through gently falling snow.

Maybe my photos will send a little spring your way.

Happy New Year!

My family and I spent the day at the Chicago Botanic Garden. There is a wonderful model train and landscape exhibit on display, complete with models of Chicago landmarks, winding bridges, a waterfall, and even snow!

Check out our photos which include the Chicago skyline and my personal favorite location, the Shedd Aquarium.

The exhibit runs through January 6 and is open daily from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Check out the Garden’s web site: www.chicagobotanic.org/wonderland for all the details.
